Taneil’s Story

Taneil is a Jersey City-based artist, born and raised in the vibrant cultural landscape of New Jersey. Her educational journey includes earning a BA from NYU in Media, Culture, and Communication, with a specialized focus in image and screen studies. Complementing this foundation, she pursued The Mastery Program at Milan Art Institute. From an early age, Taneil eschewed conventional children’s games in favor of creativity and imaginative exploration. Although always nurturing a deep passion for art, circumstances led her to prioritize stability and survival. By the age of 35, she intuitively knew it was time to fully commit to her calling.

Taneil’s creative process is deeply introspective, reflecting her appreciation for silence and attentive listening. While she is typically reserved, her artistic expression resonates powerfully, driven by a rich inner world that teems with intense emotions difficult to articulate in words. She translates these intricate sensations into her art, creating profound visual narratives that speak to those who find solace in exploring the complexities of human experience. "I make art for the wild ones who live at the edges of life’s spectrum; those who crave intensity and are deeply unsatisfied with moderation or normalcy,"  Taneil affirms, encapsulating her mission to evoke transcendence through her compelling artwork.

Drawing inspiration from her spiritual and yoga practices, Taneil embarks on a continual journey of self-discovery and truth-seeking. Her Jersey City studio serves as a sanctuary where she channels universal inspiration into her art year-round. With a steadfast commitment to exploring the boundless reservoirs of creativity that the universe offers, Taneil remains dedicated to continuing to share her artistic vision with the world.
